Since 1964, October 15th has had a special appreciation for people who are blind or visually impaired — its White Cane Safety Day. This day not only celebrates the freedom and independence that white cane provides. Its also a great day to create awareness for the general public that the white cane is an important tool in helping the blind and visually impaired get around.
For the safety of all our friends who use a white cane and those who work with them, a walk around the city or mall wasn't in the cards for this year. In a virtual celebration and awareness campaign, we have created some short videos, we hope you enjoy them.
